Painted Petals is Bloomin' Awesome!

My other stamp set of the month last month was Painted Petals which I really like even though I messed up and ordered the clear stamp set instead of the photopolymer....so my stampin' ma-jig is my friend!  Here are the cards we did--sure do love pinterest and all the ideas you can find there!  I will give credit when I can because I certainly cased most of these!

Simple and easy--but so striking!  Love the use of Gorgeous Grunge along with Painted Petals.  I use wild wasabi and strawberry slush ink (and stamped off a bit) to achieve this look!  This was cased from Sam Donald (one of my favorite UK demonstrators) at pootles.co.uk

The next card was one of my favorites--it's just so sweet...

I don't own the heart border punch, but I do have the heart strip in the mini bag framelits.  I especially like the combo of rose red and soft sky...and the painted petals cotton twine is a dream to work with.  It comes in a  bundle of 3 colors--whisper white, wild wasabi and soft sky.  I cased this from Louise Sims--another UK stamper.  You can find her card here!

The third card was cased from Julie Davison's blog--really thought this was adorable.  This used Wisteria Wonder and Almost Artichoke ink.  Love the Hello You thinlit dies--so cute!

The last project we did with this set was this card which for me was the most difficult to figure out...I cased it from Amy K.

The pictures just aren't quite true, but close enough....had to do some drawing of stems with this card which of course stretched me artistically!

Don't forget that the retirement list came out last Tuesday and many things are ALREADY sold out!!
You can order by e-mail/messaging me or by ordering through my DBWS site here! (I also hear they put some new stuff on the clearance rack).

Lovely Amazing You!

I think I ordered this set the day it became available!  I love the sentiments and the font (handwriting) is my favorite!  This was one of the sets I used for my April Stamp Set of the Month.  Here are the cards we made:

Yep--this is my favorite of them all.  I used the Butterfly Basics set with crumb cake ink and the flower from the Artisan Embellishments...sure hope they come out with more of these flowers in the new catalog.

I cased this from Patty Bennett--it uses the Irresistable DSP from the SAB catalog.  Guess where the thread came from?  The Island Indigo sequins....just strip them off and you have the thread---genius!

And the last project for this stamp set was a little Easter box...

I will put the link to the directions for this cutie pie box here as soon as I find it!  Here it is!
